SELECTED PROJECTS
Interpretive Planning/Storyline Developments

National Archives Discovery Room

Client: National Archives of Canada

In 1998, Apropos was asked to advise the National Archives on the idea of developing a discovery room focused on archival materials and processes. Acting on the recommendations in our report, Archives staff have decided to pursue a discovery area as part of their new exhibit hall, rather than a separate area.

Revisions to Canada in Space

Client: National Museum of Science & Technology

Apropos was hired in 1997 to develop a revised interpretive plan for the museum's Canada in Space gallery. American exhibit evaluator Dr. Harris Shettel had given the hall a poor grade. Apropos responded to Shettel's suggestions, as well as to the objectives of the staff, and produced a new interpretive plan. The modifications were made in time for a December 1997 opening.

Storyline Development, The 1000 Islands

Client: 1000 Islands Historic Village

Apropos developed objectives, themes and messages, and produced the storyline for an exhibit on the 1000 Islands.
