NEW FOSSIL GALLERY
Canadian Museum of Nature, Ottawa, Ontario, 2002

The Canadian Museum of Nature is developing a new flagship gallery of palaeontology. This spectacular new exhibit, focussing on a critical 50-million year slice in earth history, will feature two major environmental recreations, fleshed-out animal models, and fossils of dinosaurs, marine reptiles and early mammals.

Apropos Planning is very pleased to be developing the interpretive plan for this major new exhibit, scheduled to open in 2005.

Client: Canadian Museum of Nature
Collaborators: CMN staff, Glenn Guboyan

This illustration captures the concept of one of the gallery's dioramas: mammals will replace dinosaurs as earth's dominamt animals.
