PEI HERITAGE PRESENTATION PLAN
Prince Edward Island, 2001

When the PEI Field Unit of Parks Canada decided to review heritage presentation planning at all of its PEI sites, they selected Apropos Planning for the job. With our combined strength in natural science and human history, Apropos was well-suited to the task.

We visited the national park and three historic sites and held workshops with staff to determine the strengths and weaknesses of their existing interpretive offer. A thorough Heritage Presentation Plan was the finished result.

Apropos developed a 107-page critical analysis of heritage presentation, with dozens of recommendations and a five-year action plan.

Client: Prince Edward Island Field Unit, Parks Canada
Collaborators: Staff of the PEI Field Unit
