More and more people are getting out and enjoying trails. Apropos Planning has been involved in interpretive signage projects for many trails in both rural and urban settings.

As part of a major planning project for the Trans-Canada Trail in the year 2000, we undertook a study on different panel materials and their advantages and disadvantages for outdoor applications. We can now advise our clients on materials as well as panel content and design.

s At the Hamilton Region Conservation Authority’s Dundas Valley Visitor Centre, we developed panels that recall the days when the Dundas Valley Rail Trail was a busy rail line. (Fabrication by Fontasy)

The City of Oakville has interpreted its history with five of these beautiful kiosks, located throughout the city.

Apropos worked with the local historical society to develop the content for these enamel panels. (Fabrication by Enamel-tech)

t Apropos has developed many historical interpretive panels for the city of Owen Sound. (Fabrication by Miller Photo-plaque)
